Welcome to Forks! First and foremost we’re an independent cafe in the heart of Bradford’s Independent Quarter. Expect a delicious menu of freshly prepared hot meals, seasonal sandwiches and salads, and tempting, freshly baked sweet treats.
But Forks is also a social enterprise, providing aspirational work experience and training through our academy for people who have recovered from alcohol or drug problems. Our goal is to offer a future to people who want a hand up, not a hand out, by ensuring that we give them the best quality skills and experience to find sustainable employment in the future.
At Forks, we believe in offering more than just outstanding food and service. We want to create an inspirational space where people meet, socialise and experience the satisfaction of giving hope and opportunity to trainees working to achieve self sufficiency.
Forks is owned by the Bridge Project, Bradford’s leading charity providing support to individuals, families and children suffering from the consequences of drug or alcohol dependence. All our profits go directly back into the community to fund this ongoing support and to help many more people make a positive choice when they reach a difficult fork in the road.
